Bankbumi is digital platform that turns student waste into valuable savings and measurable environmental impact from campus, by campus, for the earth.

The main problem that Bank Bumi aims to solve is the low awareness and participation of the public, especially students and young communities, in responsible waste management. A lot of waste is not segregated and directly disposed to landfill without going through the recycling process, which ultimately contributes to environmental pollution and increased carbon emissions. In addition, the absence of a recording system and incentives makes people less motivated to sort, deposit, or manage their waste sustainably. The lack of education and access to waste management facilities also exacerbates this condition. Bank Bumi is here to answer these challenges by providing a platform that encourages the habit of sorting and depositing waste through a technology-based approach, education, and a transparent point system.
